Our Process for Homeowners

I.

In-Home Consultation

Our process starts with a meeting in your home to learn more about your project and explore your decorating style. Our designers come with our portfolio and expert recommendations to achieve the look you desire. Based on your preliminary choices, we will provide you with an estimate for your project. For this initial design consultation, there is a $150 fee.

II.

Design Engagement

Sew Beautiful offers an extensive collection of designer fabrics, trims, decorative hardware, Hunter Douglas blinds and shades and Norman shutters. Digital renderings provide visual mock-ups of each option, making the design easier to envision. Before we engage in design services, we request a non-refundable design retainer of $250, that will be entirely credited to the completed job.

III.

Meet in Our Studio

A second meeting in our design studio provides the opportunity for you to review the selections our designers have made for your project and see them in a realistic Design Rendering. With our expansive library at hand, it is easy to refine and finalize the design selections. Fabric samples will be ordered so we can see them in your home.

IV.

Final Check Measure

At this meeting with you, our installer and designer, all product, design details and measurements are finalized.

V.

Orders & Fabrication

Once design, product selections and measurements are finalized, orders are placed and fabrication begins. In about twelve to sixteen weeks (due to these unprecedented times), your project will be complete and an installation appointment will be scheduled.

VI.

Installation

Professional installers take care to hang each treatment perfectly in your home. Photos will be taken of the final product, then we’ll leave you to enjoy your beautiful new space!
